The Group also has numerous agreements throughout the world that allow for the sale and maintenance of the product in countries such as France, Spain, USA and throughout Asia.

A short history of the FIPA Group:

The path which has led FIPA Group to conquer a position of absolute prestige in the international yachting world started in the 1970s with the production of the first vessels in fiberglass, a material that was still new and innovative at the time. In the 1980s it gained control over the MAIORA brand which even at that time represented the highest level of handmade craftsmanship. The beginning of the 1990s saw the purchase of the historic INTERMARE shipyard, located in Viareggio harbour. This has allowed the Group to offer specialised mechanical assistance, stainless steel and teak work, and has put docking space at its disposal for final tests and trials before delivery to clients. In this way it could offer assistance to its clients also in the after sales phase.

At the start of the 2000s AB YACHTS joined the FIPA Group. The yacht makers who were already at the forefront of design and construction of fast open yachts with water-jet propulsion, perfectly complemented FIPA groups existing product range. With this acquisition began the modernisation of products and the increasing in the volume of production. Following the increase in demand the Group relocated part of this MAIORA production to the Massa, so that its production could grow to 40 units per years. In 2005 the Group acquired the shipyard CBI NAVI which added expertise in the domain of steel and alloy construction.

Currently, FIPA Group is continuing its expansion and is able to offer vessels in fiberglass up to 50 metres long, vessels in steel and light alloys up to 80 metres long, fast open vessels up to 60 metres long, as well as offering complete and fully integrated services in all areas of pleasure yachting.
