The permanent party, Ibiza is the island that you have to experience at least once in your life. Each season is different and unusual and the only constant is the intense light and mild temperatures and the only "snow" that you will see is the white almond blossom in spring.
The island, which is famous as a destination for clubbers also has an impressive cultural offering and a whole range of sporting activities. For lovers of the past there are the museums of archaeology (Dalt Vila) and Ethnology (Santa Eulalia) as well as Carthaginian, Roman and Arabic remains dotted around the island. Also of note are the sanctuary of es Culleram, towards Sant Vicent, dedicated to the Punic goddess Tanit, the necropolis of Puig des Molins and the Phoenician village of sa Caleta.
Then there is of course “la movida” because in Ibiza the night is when the island really comes into its own.
The clubbers' mecca is Pacha (Avenida 8 de Agosto, Ibiza), a true legend, with a nightlife tradition dating back to the 60s and a bizarre arrangement inside spread over several levels. For the seriously cool, there is Bora Bora on Bora Bora Beach where you can dance directly in front of the beach, El Divino (Botafoch Marina, Ibiza) is the place where you will find the most beautiful models and at El Paradis (Avenida Dr Fleming, San Antonio) you can experience the famous “water party” held twice a week. There are hundreds of clubs in Ibiza with each one offering something different like the famous “foam parties” of Eden (Avenida Dr Fleming, San Antonio) with its Egyptian theme and Privilege (San Rafael) with its giant complex of terraces, bars and dance floors.
The party scene has in recent years also extended into the bay, where boats like to anchor and organise mega parties, dancing during the day between swimming and relaxing.
But you shouldn't think that ‘Eivissa’ is only for the partygoers. It also offers great tranquillity, with walks under the full moon and fine dining by the sea. You can enjoy twilight strolls among the terraces, art galleries and markets, that reflect the multicultural spirited, creative and cheerful island.
Travellers, night owls, adventurers, sailors, music lovers, where ever they live, feel that they have found in Ibiza the place they have dreamt of.
