ACI Marina Trogir

Trogir is almost a museum itself. Since 1997, the historic centre of Trogir has been included in the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites.

Trogir assumed its today's form between the 13th and 15th centuries. The grandest building is the Cathedral of St. Lawrence, with the main portal by master Radovan, and the most significant work of the Romanesque-Gothic style in Croatia. Trogir's medieval core comprises of narrow streets with a series of palaces from the Rennaisance, Romanesque-Gothic and Baroque periods. One single symbol of Trogir is Kairos, the ancient Greek god of the "fleeting moment". The original bas-relief od Kairos, or Caerus from 3rd century B.C. is kept at the Convent of Benedictine Nuns.

Trogir is closely connected to the island of Čiovo, where the ACI Marina Trogir is located. The marina is open all year, with its wonderful view of the historic medieval town of Trogir and the famous St. Lawrence's Cathedral. One would think that the time has stopped in this place but the happy alliance of vibrant locals and inquisitive tourists will prove them wrong.
